About Us
Hi, I am Demon and the 10 of us Sibes and our human mom and dad live in the Upper Ohio Valley near the borders of Ohio, W. Va. and Pa. They caught the "Sibe Fever" in 1995 and started breeding and selling AKC registered Siberians from good Old Sled Ancestry and well known Champion Show Ancestry. Being an admirer of our country's Lighthouses and a fan of cold weather, snow, dog sledding, and both Arctic regions, it would stand to reason, that this Sibe Kennel and Team would be named "Northern Lights Siberians". Mom and dad and Nomo (who started having seizures at 6) were involved in research being done by the University of Missouri Veterinary College concerning Epilepsy/Seizures in Siberians. Mom and dad are also involved in reasearch involving the Breeding Genetics of White Sibes. Mom graduated from West Liberty State College in 1975 and is real smart. We are raised in a home atmosphere with air-conditioning for the hot summer months, lots of winter fun and activities, and lots of loving attention until we pass away. We have 3 generations of some of us living here so you can see us from old age down to young'uns. We do not always have puppies available because mom and dad only breed our females for fall and winter litters to ensure the safety of the mom's health as well as the puppies. We sell puppies suitable for the Show ring, sled pulling or just to be an additon to your Human family. We breed for quality in confirmation and for a sweet loving temperament with just a smidge of "spoiled rotten" added. Mom and dad donated Dog and Cat food and supplies to be trucked to New York City to help our animal buddies after the 9-11 disaster. Mom and dad have over 47 years experience in raising, training, and working with dogs of many different breeds, so even if you just have questions about our breed or need help solving a problem- then feel free to contact us. We currently have a male dog from our 2006 litter named Kosmo (can be seen on Testimonials & Reunion page or from any of our Dogster pages) who is neutered and House & Crate trained who is in need of a new home. If you can provide a good home for him- please contact us.
